Man Who Survived Bear Attack Wrote Chilling Final Note His To Loved Ones

After discovering fragments of his own flesh after a bear attack, a man who survived wrote a terrifying farewell letter to his loved ones.

On August 24, 2017, Jeremy Evans went hunting for a ram in the Canadian province of Alberta.

However, the maintenance supervisor almost lost his life after colliding with a bear rather than a ram.

While hunting, Jeremy saw “a little brown thing” run “less than 10 feet away” in front of him. He soon realized it was a grizzly bear cub, not a ram.

Jeremy had previously told UNILAD that he reached down to try to get his bear spray out of his backpack, but the cub’s mother appeared before he could locate it.

Jeremy ended up with some “pretty big holes” in his hand after he threw his bicycle at her in an attempt to frighten the bear away.

After the bear ‘came charging back in a second time,’ after easing off for a short while, Jeremy jumped into a tree to save his life.

However, before he could reach a safe height, the mother bear “wrapped her paws around” his right leg.

“My left eye was hanging out of the socket,” Jeremy told the Daily Mail. It had its back to us. I had to tilt my head way back or raise my eye to see clearly.

“I recall that nothing felt the same when I felt my face. All of my teeth were visible, and my jaw was drooping to the left.

Jeremy’s battered body fell to the ground as the bear left the area. The attack had damaged his vision, so he was unable to see, but he crawled back through the woods and found his gun and bag.

His goatee and moustache, a piece of his face, and his ear were the first things he saw; the bear had completely torn them away.

After becoming certain that he would not survive, Jeremy took out his phone and sent his wife some parting messages.

One message sent to UNILAD said, “Whoever finds this, please let my wife know I tried to make it.” “But that bear really [f***ed] me up, so there is [no] chance.”

“I am pretty sure this is the end,” Jeremy wrote in another text. I feel like I’m about to faint from exhaustion. I won’t wake up if I do.

Jeremy has had five major surgeries and fifteen minor procedures since the attack, but the damage has gone beyond his physical health.

He has been in therapy for years in an attempt to get over the horrific attack, and it makes sense that he developed PTSD.
